The Story Behind the Sound

About AOR AURA

AOR AURA is built around emotional rock songwriting, cinematic atmosphere, and the spirit of classic arena-sized melodies.

The Project

Tunes Music launches with a legacy most new labels can only dream of. Its founder, Mark Eden, spent 15 years as a songwriter, Polydor signed artist, and producer before a pivotal 1984 collaboration changed everything. A Carlin Publishing–initiated studio session paired Eden with rising artist John Parr, leading directly to Parr’s signing with Atlantic Records.

The resulting debut single, “Naughty Naughty,” broke into the US Top 30, and in 1985 Parr hit the road opening for Toto, Heart, and Bryan Adams. Eden was recruited as Parr’s personal engineer for these major league tours, working arenas across America.

That same year, Parr co wrote the Grammy nominated “St. Elmo’s Fire (Man in Motion)” with David Foster — a track that hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The success earned Parr an invitation from Tina Turner to open the North American leg of her Private Dancer tour, performing to 25–30,000 seat stadiums with Eden once again behind the console.

Today, Tunes Music carries that rock solid pedigree forward. Its flagship release, AOR AURA’s “Love Will Conquer All,” channels the same craftsmanship, melodic power, and emotional storytelling that defined Eden’s early career — now reimagined for a new generation of listeners

Tunes Music: built on real history, driven by authentic artistry, and ready for the playlists that champion timeless songwriting.

The Vision

AOR AURA blend the heart of 80s melodic rock with a fresh, modern pulse. Born from rediscovered recordings and reimagined through today’s creative tools, their music delivers soaring vocals, widescreen guitars, and big anthemic choruses built for the open road. AOR AURA is where nostalgia meets new horizons

The Band

AOR AURA is more than a collection of musicians. Each member brings a distinct energy to the sound, shaping the balance of emotion, melody, atmosphere, and power that defines the project.

Adrian Voss — Lead Vocals

The voice, the face, and the storm at the centre of AOR AURA. Adrian is all layered blonde hair, open shirts, silver chains, and late-night intensity. His lyrics feel deeply personal, and his delivery always seems to carry just a little more emotion than expected. Off-stage he is surprisingly introspective and quiet, but on-stage he becomes utterly magnetic.

Jake “Riot” Halpern — Lead Guitar

Jake is the architect of the band’s sound, channelling precision and feeling through every solo. With his signature zebra-striped guitar and obsessive ear for tone, he treats each lead line as part performance, part emotional language. He is known for chasing the perfect take long after everyone else should have gone home.

Cassian “Cass” Vale — Rhythm Guitar / Backing Vocals

Cass is the glue that holds the songs together. With an understated cool and a darker aesthetic, he brings structure, grounding, and balance to the band’s bigger emotional moments. His harmonies are flawless, and when arrangements start to drift, he is often the quiet authority who brings everything back into focus.

Elena “Lennox” Marlowe — Keys / Synth

Lennox provides the shimmer, atmosphere, and emotional undercurrent of AOR AURA. With vintage style and deep musical intuition, she can transform a song with a single sustained chord or cinematic synth texture. She understands when to fill the space and when to let it breathe, giving the music much of its polished, expansive character.

Marcus Steele — Drums

Marcus is the engine room of the band: precise, powerful, and relentlessly solid. He never overplays, instead giving each song exactly the groove and force it needs. With sharp timing and a dry sense of humour, he helps keep the band locked in both musically and personally, often delivering the final word when debates run long.

Mark Eden — Producer

Not officially a member of the band, but very much part of its identity, Mark is the calm centre in the middle of the storm. He has likely rescued more songs than anyone realises, knowing exactly when to push for more, when to stop, and when to say, “That’s the take.” His ear, judgement, and steady presence make him the honourable sixth member of AOR AURA.
