The Project

AOR AURA didn’t begin as a band. It began as a feeling — the rush of a guitar hitting the first chord, the glow of stage lights in a small club, the belief that music could turn ordinary lives into something cinematic.

Formed on the UK’s south coast in the mid-1980s, AOR AURA were a group of friends united by a shared obsession: the soaring melodies and emotional power of the AOR movement. They rehearsed in garages, played pubs and seaside venues, and poured their hearts into a collection of original songs that captured the spirit of the era — big hooks, bigger harmonies, and lyrics that reached for something beyond the horizon.

Life, as it often does, pulled the band in different directions. The tapes were boxed up, the gigs faded into memory, and the dream seemed destined to become a footnote in their youth.
